The purpose of this introductory-level resource is to enhance knowledge about the importance and practice of community engagement and collaboration in tobacco control and populations with low socioeconomic status (SES) characteristics. Readers will explore the evidence regarding the need for community engagement and collaboration, and will be equipped with methods they can practice to ignite these connections. Readers will also be provided with plenty of contemplative questions and answers regarding why partnerships are important, and how to maintain partnerships that are mutually beneficial.
