Thriving communities depend on systems that prevent illness, not just treat it. When state and community leaders collaborate to strengthen prevention efforts, communities experience better health outcomes, lower costs, and stronger local economies.
This summit brought together leaders and practitioners from across sectors to explore practical approaches to prevention that can be sustained over time, even as conditions change. The emphasis was on improving the reach and impact of evidence-based interventions to reduce the burden of chronic disease on our communities.
The agenda balanced shared learning with small‑group interaction, allowing participants to learn from one another and leave with clearer next steps.
