The Public Health Approach: Tobacco Control Among Populations with Low Socioeconomic Characteristics

This course discusses the Public Health Approach, which considers population vs individual-level tobacco control interventions when reaching populations with low SES characteristics. It covers how the Social Determinants of Health impact health outcomes in communities with low SES characteristics and how strategies from the CDC’s tobacco control vaccine model can be used to impact tobacco use.
